The Taylor & Mathis South Florida team put their award winning property management skills to good use last week. Fifty employees volunteered two days of man hours and expertise at Kristi House, Inc., a private, non-profit organization in Miami, Florida dedicated to healing and eradicating child sexual abuse. Kristi House operates the Orlowitz-Lee Children’s Advocacy Center responsible for sexual abuse cases in all of Miami-Dade County, population 2.6 million.  The team did everything from painting to landscaping to repairs.

Kristi House is located on the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital campus at 1265 NW 12 Ave. Its south facility is located on U.S. 1 and 152nd and its north facility is located at 18441 NW and 2nd Avenue. Damien Madsen and Darryl Hoffman recently completed over 10,000 square feet in leases in Lake Mary and Maitland. At Primera in Lake Mary, Phacil, Inc. leased  3,696 square feet in Tower I and Michael Baker  leased  2,904 square foot in Tower II.  In Maitland, Madsen and Hoffman finalized a 3,500± SF lease for Recovery Village at the Point 100 building.

Taylor & Mathis Picks Up Coral Gables Leasing Assignment

image001Miami, FL –   Demeetree Real Estate Services, Inc., a private investment group out of Orlando, has selected the Miami office of Taylor & Mathis of Florida as exclusive leasing agent for Douglas Centre, a 198,000 square foot office building in Coral Gables.  T&M Managing Director of Leasing John O’Neil will spearhead leasing efforts for the building which is currently 74% occupied.  “We wanted a strong regional firm with extensive local ties to the South Florida market to help us quickly increase building occupancy,” stated Demeetree Managing General Partner Mike Wright.  O’Neil, a broker in the market for over 25 years, has completed 31 deals totaling over 150,000 square feet in the past year.

Taylor & Mathis Sees Significant Increase in Leasing Activity at Waterford at Blue Lagoon Properties

MIAMI, FL –  Taylor & Mathis of Florida, the exclusive leasing agent for eight office properties within Miami’s Waterford at Blue Lagoon Corporate Park has completed over 74,000 square feet of leasing at the properties this year more than doubling the 30,000 square feet leased in the same time period last year.  The 19 leases were negotiated on behalf of the owners by Jeannette Mendoza of Taylor & Mathis.


All eight buildings leased by Taylor & Mathis are on Blue Lagoon Drive within the 250-acre Waterford at Blue Lagoon corporate park.
