At last week’s BOMA Miami luncheon Jose Abreu, Miami Aviation Director, was presented with the Vanguard Award for all of his years of service to Miami-Dade County. BOMA MIAMI attendees broke out into the Harlem Shake just before the start of the luncheon presentation. “This is the first time a commercial building organization dances live on video,” says Peter Romero, Chair of the Events Committee for BOMA MIAMI. “We were inspired by The Heat Harlem Shake video and knew we could do a great Harlem Shake. We thank all that participated and took the challenge to stay in step with the times.” Jose Abreu looked on as BOMA Miami took to the floor in good spirits. Taylor & Mathis Senior Property Manager, Peter Romero started the Harlem Shake and as you can see the room of attendees can really shake up the dance floor.
